Melinda not only teaches singing but also coaches and mentors acts.

She coached the choir at the Al Bustan Festival three years running and was a guest teacher at Trinity Laban offering a one week course in Weimar cabaret and song interpretation.

Melinda also teaches and mentors opera students in Barbados as part of her work for The Speightstown Allstars, a non-profit Artistic collective. She currently has three students who have been studying in the UK and Germany thanks to her mentorship. She is the Artistic Director of The Allstars Festival Barbados and is on the board of the Lerici Festival Italy.
