From Love to Decay
Written by Melinda Hughes with original lyrics by Nigel Osner. The bittersweet love story of a Diva with an inflated ego and an intense left-wing struggling actor gave scope for lots of music and comedy including Living with a Prima Donna (Bizet/Osner), Looking for Love (Osner/Nash), alone on New Years Eve (Osner/Nash) and other show tunes by Gershwin, Sondheim and Cole Porter.
From Love to decay premiered at the Jermyn Street Theatre in February 2002 for a short run and was directed by Marq Urquhart whose credits include the UK Tour musical of Bronte, Beauty and the Beast, work at the Donmar Warehouse and a variety of shows in Germany.
